I bought these in search of a decent set of pads for a reasonable price and I got exactly what I expected. I train thai twice a week (1 hour class) and these are more than sufficient for my needs. I do agree (with the below post) that they do not absorb much impact which could give your head a little rattle, but whether or not that will bother you depends on how often you use them.
