This uniform is made from 100% Cotton and has been bleached to give it a clean white look. This uniform is a single weave style, so it is an excellent choice for warmer climates or for use in the summer months. It is lightweight yet still durable enough for grappling and sparring. The Basic Judo uniform features reinforced stitching at the stress points of the side vents and at the end of the sleeves where tugging and pulling is most likely to occur. The uniform also features diamond pattern stitching on the top part of the jacket with tradition rice grain stitching on the skirt of the jacket. This stitching adds durability and resistance to tearing. The -pants of this uniform feature tough reinforced stitching and padding at the knees as well as an elastic waist and with additional drawstring for optimum fit. This uniform also includes a standard white belt. The belt is 1 1/2 inches wide and features 8 lines of stitching.
