MMA Training Gloves

#csimmatraininggloves

  • Quad layer foam padding
  • Offers the same protection as a 16oz. Boxing glove
  • Made from synthetic leather and high density foam padding
  • You can hit the bag and then spar without changing gloves
  • Unique and versatile

These MMA gloves have an effective and unique design. The 4-layer foam padding provides you with the same protection and shock disbursement as a 16 ounce boxing glove. This means that you can smack on a heavy bag and spar with your partner in the same session without having to change gloves. This makes these gloves versatile and useful for just about anyone. They have been constructed out of synthetic leather for increased durability and feature an open palm for added comfort. The open palm design also gives you more control and a better grip during grappling while also keeping your hands cool and dry.

These work good for sparring. As for "Same protection and shock disbursement as a 16 ounce boxing glove." well I'm not sure I'd agree with that. Sparring with these and sparring with 16oz boxing gloves are two different experiences. For the price (can be found very cheap) these are great!

I found these gloves to be best suited for training MMA striking. They offer more protection that CSI's 5 oz. Grappling gloves (which are very comfortable and great for training grappling for MMA, but not so good for punches to the head).

Perfect for sparring amateur or professional...
-While bigger 12-16 oz. gloves may offer more protection, their larger size doesn't allow them to mimic parrying/blocking punches, etc. in an amateur or pro MMA match. And, of course, the CSI Training Gloves offer substantial protection for pad-work and bag-work.
- I've found them useful during circuit training because I have full use of my hand/fingers (for drills involving weights/kettlebells), but am still able to integrate pad-work and grappling drills without having to put on/off gloves in the middle of my circuit.

I picked these gloves up just the other day and my initial impressions are positive.
The look: Flat Black with CSI logo on the top nothing to special but not gaudy which i view as a plus. I don't like overly flashy or 'loud gloves'
The Feel:- these gloves are extremely firm and stiff. It's almost hard to make a fist while having material cover your knuckles.I think though that after they break in they will be fine, they are a little uncomfortable and you have to take your time putting your hands in them to get in the finger hole.
Support- I haven't had them long and have only had time to hit the bag with them. so far the support is ok, but it feels like less than I would find in a thai bag glove or a boxing glove.

I find the product to be excellent. Prompt shipping, accurate description,Stiff at first but well made. I didn't get these as a bag glove but in fact, to hit people, without sustaining an injury. They work. Sizing is great. Right on actually. Thats' a draw back to Everlast products. Too commercial. S/M or L/XL- what if your regular? You're out of luck! Lifefitnesskmc@yahoo.com
