I'm very happy with these gloves. They are light and durable, which is exactly what I was hoping for.
For $20, I've gotten a lot of use out of them on the heavy bags and focus mitts, and they're still going strong.
As someone already pointed out, they are not intended for sparring with strikes (5 oz weight). However I've gotten a lot of use out of them as far as wearing them while training Grappling for Mixed Martial Arts... The goal being to become comfortable using grips and submissions/sweeps/escapes while wearing MMA gloves, but at the same time not necessitating the awkwardness of safe (and bigger) sparring gloves.
