These shorts are tight and offer goor support. They are padded though, and not regular compression shorts. If you do a lot of grappling these might help you out, but they are more like shorts for baseball or softball. I like them and other people might find them usefull for wrestling or sparring. Simply locate the cup-wearer's height on the left. Then find his weight from the chart top. Where these two points meet tells you the proper cup and garment size to purchase.
